Warsaw, 19 May 2025. – Achromatic Games, a game developer and publisher listed on NewConnect, has reported revenues of PLN 896,000 for the first quarter of 2024, along with an EBITDA of PLN 539,000. The company is currently concentrating on its biggest project to date, a multiplatform game tentatively titled ‘Papillon’.
The solid results from last year have given us the confidence to dive into a project that truly excites us all. We've already shared 'Papillon' with potential partners, and the feedback has been incredibly positive. We have more meetings lined up and a decision on our publisher is just around the corner. Soon, we'll be unveiling more footage of the game to the public," said CEO Marcin Kwaśnica.
The results this year are weaker compared to last year, with recorded revenue dropping by 34.7% year-on-year, and net profit falling to PLN 35 thousand from PLN 913 thousand a year ago. This decline is mainly due to the publishing cycle. However, Cherrypick is still managing to maintain a positive and solid cash flow from operations, which reached PLN 633k in the first three months of the year. By the end of March, the company had cash reserves of PLN 591k.
During the quarter, the Company made strides in launching some of its games on the Steam platform, just as they had announced. In addition, 'My Spa Resort', which was previously only available for free on mobile devices, has now been introduced on the Google Play Pass subscription service. However, the game 'Kingdoms: Merge & Build' saw a dip in revenues, as it continues to be developed for a fee in line with its agreement with Apple.
Earlier this year, the Management Board rolled out an update to the Company’s development strategy, which they presented to the Supervisory Board. This update outlines the key priorities for the period from 2024 to 2027. As part of this plan, the company is broadening its focus to include the creation of premium games that will be available on various hardware platforms, including mobile devices.
“Our aim is to develop and launch two top-notch multiplatform games by 2027. The first one, 'Papillon,' is already in the works, and we can't wait to share some exciting, extended footage of this project with players soon! – emphasized Marcin Kwaśnica.
